As always, my visit was professional, pleasant, and productive. Dr Smith has a plan for replacing my old crowns that allows ME to choose what to do as my dental work ages. Jordan cleaned my teeth today without pain and with a cheerful attitude that made my hour with her very pleasant (first time I’ve met Jordan, and I like her hygienist style). Donna will answer any questions with experience and understanding. Ami makes sure things run smoothly and the new guy Michael seems to fit in well with Dr Smith’s customer-centric office philosophy. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and his entire team. They are experts in prosthodontics. Anything less than perfect isn’t good enough for them. Dr Jay Smith has been my Prosthodontist for 10 plus years. Dr. Smith has helped me through a number of complex implant issues and most recently helped me by referring me to an implant specialist he trusts. Dr. Smith made a new “temporary bridge” that is in now post implant surgery. It looks amazing. My family have commented on how perfect it looks. I am thrilled and looking forward to the final bridge in a few months. Dr. Smith made a “temporary bridge” for me 8 years ago that worked perfectly while I moved to Scotland, and procrastinated about next steps for my mouth. Thank you!!!!

I had a tooth near the front of my mouth break off down to the gum. On my first visit to Prosthodontist, Atlanta, I was very impressed with the advanced technology of their equipment and the staff’s ability to use it in getting me prepped for Dr. Smith. Dr. Jay Smith then reviewed the condition of my teeth. He said he could just fix the tooth, but felt that I needed some additional reconstruction of some of the other teeth to help prevent some possible problems in the future. He spent several hours removing the broken tooth and putting in a temporary tooth. And, then did some adjustments on my other teeth. The results were very impressive. As usual, the process went smoothly. My appointment was just for a typical cleaning, X-rays, etc... everyone there is so friendly and professional. The office and clinic area is immaculate and well maintained.

I needed to replace a special design partial another dentist designed for me 25 years ago. My original appliance had a tongue and groove attachment that had to be rebuilt in the new appliance. Dr j at prosthodontics Atlanta was able to make my new partial with the attachment and also use 40% less material which made it lighter and a more better fit in my mouth. Did not know if I would find a dentist able to remake this partial to match the original attachment, so when the fitting was complete, it fit perfect. I asked Dr Jay if he could make a bridge on my wisdom tooth on the lower part of my mouth which had two missing teeth in-between. Without hesitation the doctor knew what needed to be done and a month or so later I have a new bridge as well, and I am very satisfied with the dental work and it's comforting to know that we have professional dentist like Dr j doing great work in Atlanta.

Dr. Jay made me feel so comfortable in the chair even though I usually have quite a bit of dental anxiety. Did not feel one thing and he explained everything he was doing while he was doing it. Would highly suggest this office if you’re looking for high quality dentistry!!! It helped that the entire office staff was so kind and helpful also, really an all around 5 star experience.

MORE THAN A DENTIST, AN ALLY!! To say my mouth is a project is an understatement. Dr. Jay is working on a completely new upper row that I desperately needed and there is no other place I’ve felt more supported. Dr. Jay takes the time to actively listen to concerns and is engaging making you feel comfortable. He educates, going over the step by step of any procedure you might potentially need. He gets to know you as a person and is SO easy to talk to. And probably most important he is so good at what he does, an artist. He and his wonderful warm and friendly staff really make you feel like you are part of team working together towards the same goal: your best and most healthy smile.

I was in a motorcycle accident, and for 2 years have tried unsuccessfully to get dentures because of my severe injuries. I arrived at Dr Jay Smith's not being very hopeful. But he examined me, sat down with me and explained everything that he was going to do. He's thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and is as good as his word. He in fact made my day by making me teeth, but also taught me how to wear them. He understands how to teach someone to wear their dentures. He's an excellent prosthodontis, I highly recommend him. I have seen A LOT of dentists, endodontists, prosthodontists, and orthodontists, and I can honestly say Dr. Smith is the only dentist that made me feel comfortable in the patient chair and listened to. Dr. Smith explained his rational and educated me on a my chief concerns. He spent time answering all my questions, and treated me like a friend rather than a pay check. It was refreshing. His approach to my treatment was very conservative. He did a very thorough exam. My only regret is not coming sooner!
